SHILLONG: Three young talents from the State have been selected for “level three audition” of
Dance reality show, “Dance Superstar Kids” to be held in Kolkata on July 17.
Kenneth Mawlong (10) of RB Anupchand Hindi School, Chad Micheal Kharwanlang (10), a resident of Sohra and a student of Seng Khasi School and P Kharbuli (9) from Sacred Heart LP School are the ones to make it to the “level three audition”.  All the children trained in the city-based Future Dance Academy.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, head teacher of Future Dance Academy, Micky L Mawlong, however, lamented that the kids, who come from humble backgrounds, are finding it difficult to meet the expenses of travelling to Kolkata for the audition.
“So far no one has come forward to help and to promote them. It will be a matter of great disgrace if they fail to go to the audition in Kolkata for want of only Rs 25,000,” he said.
Micky Mawlong appealed to the public to help out the kids in their endeavor. If selected in Kolkata, they will move on to the next round in Mumbai.
A mother of one of the selected kids also sought help from the State Government in this regard.
