Crackdown against overloading

SHILLONG: In a crackdown on overloading by local taxis and auto rickshaws, Shillong Traffic Police detained 134 violators and realized a fine of Rs 34,800 in the last three days.
Shillong Traffic Police has urged passengers to object to any form of overloading as it goes against their convenience.
