Dance, music enthrall audience at NE students’ meet in Delhi

SHILLONG: An evening of live musical performance and dance presented by various troupes from the North East was organised by Minister of Youth affairs Zenith Sangma as part of the get-together programme for the North East students’ community of Delhi University at Meghalaya House in Delhi on Sunday.
The audience was enthralled by the riveting musical experience that was followed by dinner. A traditional dance programme depicting the tribal culture of the North East was the special draw at the evening soiree.
The programme was attended by a host of dignitaries from All India Congress Committee, including CP Joshi, Amrita Dhawan, Oscar Fernandes, Ajay Maken and Ashok Tanwar, among others. State party functionaries Sanjay Das and James Lyngdoh were also present.
