SHILLONG: Following the recent induction of two ministers, pressure is mounting on Chief Minister Mukul Sangma to accommodate three more aspirants who were in the dissident group.
Sources said on Monday that Congress legislators Celestine Lyngdoh, Comingone Ymbon and Kennedy Khyriem accompanied by new cabinet minister Ronnie V Lyngdoh recently met the Chief Minister seeking his intervention in inducting the trio.
However, the three legislators were not available for comments.
According to sources, the three legislators may also knock at the door of AICC for their induction in the Congress-led MUA-II ministry. This may put the Chief Minister in trouble as further dropping of ministers and induction of others may create rift in the party.
Sources said there is demand to drop senior ministers HDR Lyngdoh, Prestone Tynsong and Roshan Warjri.
