SHILLONG: The Kur Thangkhiew Lai-kpoh has requested the public to refrain from entering into any agreement with the clan land of the Thangkhiew and if they unintentionally did so, the people are to inform clan members.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Livingstone Thangkhiew said, “We have received information from reliable sources that former leader of the clan Asirshon Thangkhiew and Atiar Thangkhiew are fraudulently selling/advertising our clan land at Langlybun, Nongmasi at Mawlai, Thempomdngiem at Laitumkhrah and Mawpun at Golflink.”
“The matter pertaining to this land is sub judice. At this juncture, we request the people to not enter into any agreement with the said people regarding the clan land at these three places,” he added.
