Foundation Day
The Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School will celebrate its 94th Foundation Day on the school premises on at 11 am on September 13. Shillong MP Vincent Pala will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Meeting
The annual general meeting of the Shillong Rangsa Mahari Association will be held at 11 am on September 13 at the residence of Rosethy R. Marak at Laitumkhrah.
Gratitude
The Meghalaya State Committee of AITUC has thanked all the members of the constituents of the AITUC who actively took part in the workers’ rally in the city on September 2. The AITUC also extended its gratefulness for the support and participation from other sectors such as Nazareth Hospital Workers Union , Meghalaya and Greater Shillong Progressive Hawkers & Street Vendors Association etc, in the rally. The AITUC also thanked the government authorities for granting permission for the rally.
HYC unit
The Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) Mawlai Circle recently constituted its Mawsiatkhnam Unit. While Edwardson Pyngrope was named the president of the unit, Lifstarland Susngi is the general secretary and Hamar Ropmay the organising secretary.
Eid wishes
The founder family of Islamia Secondary School, Police Bazaar, conveyed its wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha and appreciated the State Government for declaring a holiday on September 13.
