Drawing competition held

SHILLONG: More than 240 children participated at a sit-and-draw competition organised by Lumparing Durga Puja Samity on Sunday in connection with the ensuing Durga Puja celebrations. The event started with the lighting of the inaugural lamp followed by homage to martyrs of the Uri attack.
Members of Lumparing Welfare Society & Women Club co-operated with the Samity for ensuring peaceful celebration of the festival.
