Two Nigerians held for duping Goanese woman

New Delhi: Two Nigerian nationals have been arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly befriending a Goanese woman on Facebook and duping her of Rs 8 lakh.
The accused, Chukwuma Collins (35) and Nicudemus Obinna (31), were arrested from Mahavir Enclave of the national capital in a joint operation with the Cyber Cell of Goa Police. Police recovered three laptops, seven data cards, three USB pen drives, 36 SIM cards and 25 mobile handsets.
Police initiated a probe into the case following a complaint from Bridget Fernandes at the Cyber Crime police station in Goa that some persons duped her to the tune of Rs 8,04,300 on the pretext of sending a parcel carrying pounds and jewellery. (PTI)
