Several transfers in police dept reshuffle

SHILLONG: In a major reshuffle in the police department, the State Government has transferred several officers to different agencies but the Home (Police) Department did not touch any of the incumbent SPs posted in the districts.
As per the notification, Cherry Shadap, Deputy Superintendent of Police (City), East Khasi Hills, has now been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Infiltration). R.S Mawlong, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSB), East Khasi Hills, has been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Anti-Infiltration).
The notification also stated that I.O Swer, SDPO, Sohra, has now been transferred as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime), East Khasi Hills. On the other hand, S Malai, SDPO, Mairang, has been transferred as Assistant Commandant, 3rd MLP battalion Khliehtyrshi, West Jaintia Hills, and B Kundu, DSP (Headquarters), West Garo Hills, has been transferred as Assistant Commandant, 5thBattalion, East Garo Hills.  According to the notification, Anil K Sangma, DSP (Headquarters), East Garo Hills has been transferred as DSP (W/R), Meghalaya, Tura. In addition, Nishant Krishna, Assistant Commandant, 1st MLP Battalion has been transferred as SDPO, Sohra, besides DW Kharbuki, Assistant Commandant, 1st MLP Battalion has been transferred as DSP (DSB), East Khasi Hills.
Nawab Thohrem, Assistant Commandant, 1st MLP battalion has been transferred as Assistant Principal, Police Training School and Sadeep K Biswa, Assistant Principal, Police Training School, has been transferred as DSP (ACB).
T.C Chacko, DSP (ACB), has also been transferred as Assistant Commandant, 1st MLP Battalion.
