JHADC appoints acting dollois

JOWAI: The Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) has appointed acting dollois in different elakas in Jaintia Hills.
The appointment letters to the new acting dollois were issued on Tuesday and they will function with immediate effect.
The JHADC Executive Committee suspended seven dollois and removed three acting dollois last week for allegedly violating rules and instructions framed by the District Council.
The Dolloi of Narpuh Elaka, Manbha Kyndoh, was replaced by Atiar Bamon as acting Dolloi, Dolloi Chawas Lyngdoh of Raliang was replaced by Bnai Dkhar, Dolloi Copiusness Daw of Nongjngi Elaka was replaced by Prospol Samati as acting Dolloi, Oldwing Shadong of Bataw-Lakadong Elaka was replaced by Alosius Shilliam-am and Dolloi Erodit Sutnga of Sutnga Elaka was replaced by Patric Pala of Myndihati village.
JHADC administrative officer B. Bamon will look after Jowai Elaka and Muskut Elaka and JHADC planning officer K Syngkong will look after Shangpung Elaka. Nangbah Elaka will be under assistant administrative officer F. Lathong. The order directed suspended dollois to hand over all relevant documents, papers and seals to the newly appointed acting dollois and to the JHADC administrative office.
