SHILLONG: Chalit Manityakul, Ambassador of Thailand to India, met Chief Minister Mukul Sangma at his residence here on Thursday. Manityakul was accompanied by Saranya Paleewongse, Minister Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy.
Earlier, the delegation from the Royal Thai Embassy in Delhi, Consulate General of Thailand in Mumbai and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand, led by Manityakul, visited Don Bosco Museum in Mawlai.  The delegation is in Shillong for an advanced survey for the visit of Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to Shillong next month.
Princess Sirindhorn will pay an official visit to India from November 20-25 to receive the first ‘World Sanskrit Award’.
