Foundation stone for school laid

NONGSTOIN: MP Vincent H Pala on Saturday laid the foundation stone for construction of the new building of Pingbah Secondary School at Nongllwai village in West Khasi Hills District on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Pala said that the presence of the secondary school will benefit people from the area and also announced Rs 5 Lakh to the school for construction of the building.
The programme was also attended by D. Jyndiang MLA Nongstoin Constituency, MDC Nongstoin Constituency L.G. Nongsiej, Rev B.S. Dkhar, Fr A. Puwein, N.S. Bani Headman of Nonglwai village, W.B. Dkhar Secretary School managing committee besides students, teachers and local residents.
