Children’s Science Congress held in city

SHILLONG: The state level congress of the 24th National Children’s Science Congress was organised on Wednesday by the State Council of Science, technology and Environment, Meghalaya.
Project leaders of eight teams were selected to represent the State in the national level science congress to be held in Maharashtra in December.
The Science Congress was inaugurated by Col. Rajat Sharma, Additional Surveyor General, NE Circle, Shillong in the presence of Ram Singh, Director, Technical and Higher Education, and others.
A felicitation ceremony was also organised for the students who secured highest marks in Science & Technology in the SSLC Examination 2016 conducted by the MBoSE.
