SHILLONG: Several MDCs, including former Congress MDC Neil Antonio War, are all set to join the BJP here on Saturday.
BJP state unit president Shibun Lyngdoh said some other MDCs, whose identities were not revealed, are also likely to join BJP even as he added that talks are on and it has not been finalised as of now.
War, Banteidor Lyngdoh, Victor Ranee, Hadrian Lyngdoh and Albinus Lyngdoh resigned from the Congress after the party suspended KHADC CEM PN Syiem for anti-party activities.
War will formally join the party on Saturday in the presence of BJP national spokesperson and in charge of Meghalaya Nalin Kohli.
