SHILLONG: The 12th Sur Sargam at U Soso Tham Auditorium on Sunday saw a special performance by differently-abled children of Dwar Jingkyrmen and Surya Deep Dance Academy.
The programme was organised by Menorah Sports and Cultural Club, which felicitated Herbert G. Lyngdoh with the Third Govind Bahirvani Memorial Excellence Award for social service.
In the Sur Sangam contest, Raman Wahlang, Biprojeet Choudhury and Sumeet Rajput bagged the first, second and third prizes, respectively, in the senior category.
The winners in the junior category were Asha Dey, Sahil L. Singh and Aniketh K. Biswa.
