Party to form next govt in state:Jamwal
Kohima: National BJP General Secretary (Org) Northeast in-charge Ajay Jamwal visiting the seven states has concluded his visit here and held series of meetings with party legislators and party office bearers.
In a statement on Saturday, Nagaland BJP General Secretary (Media) Jaangsillung Gonmei said Jamwal accompanied by state BJP President Visasolie Lhoungu met party legislators in Kohima, where various aspects of the party were discussed.
Jamwal held meetings with the party’s core group and state office bearers at Dimapur on Friday, wherein party’s forthcoming programmes, agendas and other political aspects were deliberated.
While expressing satisfaction over the smooth functioning of the party’s organization and setting up of party offices at 58 mandals in the state, he exhorted party workers to strive hard to strengthen the party and to win elected seats and take development to the masses.
Jamwal was optimistic of BJP forming the next Government in Manipur, where elections will be held early 2017 and exuded confidence that Nagaland would also succeed to do so likewise and in the footsteps of Assam.
To achieve what lies ahead for the party, he advised the party members to work and strive together without promoting differences, the release said. (UNI)
