Fidel’s death condoled

SHILLONG: The co ordination committee of central government  employees and workers, Meghalaya  condoled the demise of  Fidel Castro on Saturday.
According to a statement, Fidel liberated Latin- American Cuba in 1959 through a revolution and established the first socialist system in the continent.
Fidel was the symbol of defiance against imperialist hegemony, imparting confidence in socialist ideals even after the collapse of social world, the statement added
