Accidents across the State

A jeep proceeding towards Shillong drove off the road and overturned after it developed some technical snag. Four occupant of the vehicle sustained injuries when the incident happened at Umiam under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on December 3 at 10:52 A.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Shillong helped in shifting Moses Lyngdoh (42years/male), Bisilin Mawlong (40years/female), Oskin Pathaw (50years/male) and Asha Mawlong (7years/female) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
Travelling towards Mendipathar from Phulbari, a motorist fell off from his motorbike after it skidded on a turning at Rabi under Resubelpara Block, North Garo Hills District. The injured motorist, Abdul Jilal (37years/male) has been shifted to Resubelpara CHC by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Resubelpara. The incident happened on December 3 at 7:28 A.M.
A motorist along with the pillion rider sustained injuries when the motorist lost control of the motorbike after it skidded at 14th Mile under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on December 2 at 10:45 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Byrnihat helped in shifting the motorist, Parak Jyoti Baisha (24years/male) and the pillion rider Danberam Gorah (26years/male) to Byrnihat PHC.
A pedestrian, Breakson Suja (38years/male) sustained injuries after he was hit by a moving vehicle while walking on the side of the road at Khliehriat under Khliehriat Block, East Jaintia Hills District. The injured pedestrian has been shifted to Khliehriat CHC by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Khliehriat. The incident happened on December 2 at 6:26 P.M.
