The Shillong Socio-Cultural Assamese Students’ Association has condoled the sudden demise of its former member and former Assam Minister Dilip Saikia Sonowal. Sonowal, who was a member of SSASA from 1979 to 1981, passed away on Friday in Kolkata following prolonged illness.
