Fire at Biocon’s research subsidiary

Bengaluru: A fire broke out on Monday at the premises of Syngene, the contract research subsidiary of Biocon, but there were no reports of any casualties. The fire was brought under control with the assistance of the local authorities, a statement issued by the company said here. “This is to inform that there has been an incident of fire at the Syngene Campus, Jigni Link road, which has been brought under control with the assistance of local authorities,” the company said.
