RAGHURAM RAJAN REFUSED NARENDRA MODI’S DEMONETISATION PROPOSAL

The former RBI governor. Raghuram Rajan   had to leave because he refused to   follow the Government diktat. Rajan was asked to stay but on the condition that he would have to do away with the thousand rupee and the five hundred rupee notes. But Rajan opted out of the job and refused to comply with the prime minister’s orders. He even   warned the government of the dire consequences and the havoc it can create. Even when he was leaving, he warned the government to at least spare the country of demonestising the five hundred rupee notes. He was totally against demonetisation but if the government was so adamant then at least it should first have the alternative cash ready before it went ahead with the adventure.  Even the BJP leaders were sceptical about the move but nobody had the guts to speak out. Even the finance minister Arun Jaitley who was made to do was reluctant. When the PM briefed his cabinet ministers   there were many who had doubts about the success of the move. but nobody dared to utter a word except Nitin Gadkari. Only Gadkari dared to speak. He spiked the idea by asking him, have you thought of the implications.

KEJRIWAL HAVING TALKS WITH PRAKASH AMBEDKAR FOR PUNJAB POLLS

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is leaving no stone unturned to woo Dalit voters in Punjab Assembly election and who can be best choice other than Dr. Prakash Ambedkar, the President of Republican Party of India. Dalit voters matter a lot in Punjab assembly election.  They are not happy with ruling Akali and BJP and main opposition Congress. Ambedkar has not been invited by Congress in the past when assembly elections were held and moreover he is against Rahul Gandhi’s style of functioning over dalit issues.  Under this circumstances, only choice is Aam Aadmi Party.  Suresh Kanojea, National President of Akhil Bharatiya Dalit and Muslim Mahasangh and a close associate of Ambedkar informed that a meeting between two leaders is likely to be held at Delhi by December end or in New Year.  Joint rallies by two leaders will give boost to AAP.   If AAP emerges victorious and forms the next government in Punjab,  one can predict,  Prakash Ambedkar  may get Rajya Sabha berth from Punjab when it will fall vacant.

NARENDRA MODI GAVE BACKING TO PANEERSELVAM FOR CM’S POSITION

Paneerselvam, the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu who succeeded Jayalalithaa after her death, is actually a puppet of the NDA government at the centre. Soon after Jayalalithaa suffered cardiac arrest, the prime minister deputed Venkiah Naidu to camp in Chennai and ensure that a pro NDA   government was formed in Tamil Nadu in case something happened to Jayalalithaa. . While Modi camped in Delhi, he ensured that Paneerselvam a pro BJP man (who was appointed CM even by Amma whenever she was in crises).  got the top  seat  thus scuttling all the plans of Sashikala , the heir to Amma’s heritage  by virtue  of being Amma’s  only companion and closest friend. Shashikala who wanted to control the party had wanted a CM   who belonged to a different caste than herself probably a Gounders while Paneerselvam was a The var like herself. And how could the party chief and the CM be of  the  same caste. But the PM who needs a soft government at a time when all opposition ruled states have raised a banner of revolt against him, intervened  to ensure that Paneerselvam  occupies  the  seat of  the CM. Paneerselvam   came out to thank him even when Amma’s body still lay in  state.

ARUN JAITLEY CONTROLS TRINAMOOL MEMBER THROUGH SHAWL DIPLOMACY

If only a little buttering is needed to bring the house in order, the BJP’s hawks should learn from the finance minister and the leader of the BJP in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley.  The other day in Lok Sabha when the opposition was shouting slogans against the BJP and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the demonetisation issue.  And the TMC MPs were like always the loudest as they needed their voice should reach Didi‘s ears. That day the TMC MP Idris Ali while shouting the slogan suddenly drew the attention of the agriculture minister of the Akali Dal Harsimrat Kaur who was sitting next to Jaitley . She first drew the attention of Jaitley who himself had come wearing an expensive designer shawl   pointing at Idris Ali who had surprisingly come in a dhoti that too a designer dhoti. As the house resounded with the anti BJP and anti  PM  slogans, Harsimrat  kaur called out to Idris and both Jaitley and Harimrat   praised his designer dhoti and  Harsimrat even asked Idris to get a  designer dhoti for Jaitley that would go with his shawl.. After praising his dhoti Jaitly requested Idris to lower their voices    and shout slogans a little softly.   Soon after when Idris went back to the well and continued his sloganeering  it was noticed that   the TMC MPs  had lowered  their voices  and the din had  subsided to a large extent.

ANAND SHARMA BRAGGING ABOUT HIS POWER IN CONGRESS PARTY

Anand Sharma has really become very powerful. He has become so powerful that he can scold, rebuke and can even  tell the Congress vice president  Rahul Gandhi  to shut up. Whether he is so powerful or not but this is what he has been bragging about. He told Aaj Tak TV channel. that mein Rahul  Gandhi ko samjhabhi sakta hoon dantbe sakta hoon aur unko   chupbhi kara sakta hoon.  There was strong reaction within the rank and file of the party  over his  display of arrogance. But somebody put it in perspective by saying knowing Anand Sharma one should not be surprised he must  not have been in his normal self when he said this.

JAYALALITHAA’S DEATH MOURNED IN OTER STATES AS WELL

‘The outpouring of public grief in Tamil Nadu over Jayalalithaa’s death was unprecedented.  But Tamilians were not the only ones who were mourning. Her death was mourned even in other states    like Madhya Pradesh and Odisha . Though not so loudly, the weavers of the Chanderi and Maheshwari Sarees were also mourning. her death in silence.. The reason being that   Jayalalitha was a great connoisseur of these sarees and she paid very generously more than the  normal price. Her only condition was that the sarees she would buy, should be exclusive and she would be shown the lot first before they sold it to the retailers or other individuals.

And those sarees should not match any other sarees. Similarly her death has been a personal loss for the Orissa CM Naveen Patnaik with whom she enjoyed a personal relationship.  They were good friends and  shared  common interests in  books  and movies. They would exchange DVDs and novels.(IPA Service)
