MLCU students hold pre-Christmas celebrations

SHILLONG: The management and Commerce Studies Department of Martin Luther Christian University organised a pre-Christmas celebration for the residenst and shopkeepers of the Nongrah-Nonglum area.
The celebrations, which took place at Lailad in the Nongrah Nonglum locality on Friday, were aimed at sharing the joy of the festival with the locals around the university campus. Children as well as their parents were among the revellers.
The event that was themed on ‘Restoring Love and Kindness’ was initiated and planned by the students from the department. There was Bible reading, singing of carols and other performances. The students also distributed gifts among children.
