NONGPOH: The North Khasi Hills district unit of the Khasi Students’ Union has condemned those involved in the alleged trafficking and rape of a minor in Shillong.
The KSU unit has urged the authorities concerned to take stringent action against those involved in the heinous crime.
Condemning Mawhati MLA Julius Dorphang for his alleged involvement in the case, KSU NKHD President Ferdynald Kharkamni demanded an independent inquiry into the matter so that “all those involved in such crimes are booked and punished and crime against women is eradicated from the state”.
