SHILLONG: The State unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has expressed concern over the rising crime against women and children.In a statement to the press, BJYM president, referring to the January 1 gang rape of a 17-year-old girl from Mawryngkneng and the trafficking of a 14-year-old girl, condemned the harassment of. He stated that the State Government should strengthen its security for women and to have an equipped intelligence sources. Kurkalang has urged that the perpetrators of the crime should be punished.
