TURA: A public hearing on the recently concluded Social Audit 2016-2017 with regard to the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) is going to be held at different Gram Sevak Circles of West Garo Hills district, it has been announced.
Public hearing for Selsella Development Block will take place on January 16 and 17 at the block headquarters from 10 AM onwards. For Rongram block hearing will be on January 25 and 27, Tikrikilla Block on January 19 and 24 and Dalu block on January 30 and 31.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that all the Area Employment councils and Village employment councils (VECs) have been requested to participate in the hearing for proper scrutiny of all records.
