SSA body writes to Kohli over salary cut

TURA: The All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers’ Association has submitted a memorandum to BJP national spokesperson Nalin Kohli over reduction of salary from the earlier amount approved by the HRD Ministry. The Ministry had approved Rs 20,493 and Rs 19,044 for upper primary and lower primary teachers, respectively, but the State Government later reduced the amount to Rs 14,492 and Rs 13,335, respectively.
