2 die in GH road mishaps

SHILLONG: On January 22 at about 4 pm, one Mahindra Pickup vehicle (AS-01Y-3197) turned turtle at Jelbonggre in West Garo Hills. As a result, the driver and one occupant Witnen R Marak sustained injuries.
Later, the female occupant died on the way to hospital. Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to hospital for PM examination and the matter is under enquiry.
In another incident on January 22, a truck fell into a gorge at Anogre in West Garo Hills. The driver, identified as Kobir ali, died on the spot, The body has been sent to CH Tura for postmortem.
