SHILLONG: Police have arrested one more accused in connection with the rape and trafficking of a 14-year-old girl in the city.
After the minor girl identified a fruit seller from Madanrting, Sanwar Hussain, who also raped her, the accused was arrested by the police team from the area on Monday.
He was remanded to police custody for three days by a local court on Tuesday.
With this the number of people arrested in the sex racket case has gone up to 14.
