Awareness programme on digital banking and cashless payments held

Mawkyrwat: The office of the Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat conducted an awareness programme cum Training Seminar on Jan 25 on Digital Banking and Cashless Payments  at the Multipurpose Hall, Deputy Commissioner’s office, Mawkyrwat.
The programme was attended by the district heads of different departments and public including local traders and contractors. R. Lyngdoh, the DC of SWKH said that the programme serves as a platform where people will learn what digital payments and cashless society is all about.
The official district website    www.southwestkhasihills.gov.in was launched by the DC, South West Khasi Hills District. Rajib Bhattacharjee, District Informatics Associate, NIC Mawkyrwat also explained about the potential and different uses of the official website.
