SHILLONG: The Synjuk Ki Khun ka Elaka Sohbar (SKKKES), Shillong, in a meeting with MIDC chairman, A.L. Hek and officers dilated on the alleged high-handedness of managing director of Kommorah Limestone Mining Company Ltd (KMLC), J.R. Myrboh.
In a statement to the press, president of SKKKES, Iaishah Japang alleged that Myrboh did not release any money to the Hima Sohbar, even as the Hima Sohbar has signed an agreement with the KMLC in the year 2013.
He added that a total amount of money comes to Rs 50 lakh and the non-release of money has landed the Hima in financial problems.
Japang said that Hek assured that an inquiry committee will be constituted to probe the alleged embezzlement of money.
