DigiDhan Mela
The DigiDhan Mela being organised by the IT Department in collaboration with NITI Aayog and Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India will be held on State Central Library premises from 10 am on Tuesday. The main function of the Mela will be held at 3:30 pm at U Soso Tham Auditorium, where  Rajen Gohain, Union Minister of State for Railways will be the Chief Guest.
Lok adalat
As per the guidelines of National Legal Services Authority, the National Lok Adalat will be held once every two months on varied subject matters in 2017. The first of such a National Lok Adalat shall be held on Feb 11 on the premises of District & Sessions Court, Tura from 10:00 AM onwards.
MIIS office shifted
The office of the Meghalaya Integrated Information System (MIIS), under the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, located at Lower Lachumiere has been shifted to the new building of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations in the same area. The normal functioning of the office of the MIIS will be temporarily suspended from February 6 until further notice.
Teachers’ meet
The All Meghalaya SSA School Teacher’s Association (AMSSASTA) Ri-Bhoi District will hold a general meeting on February 9 at 10:30 am at Sajer Nongpoh.
