 Lok adalat
The District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, West Khasi Hills has informed that the District Legal Services Authority, WKH will hold the National Lok Adalat in Nongstoin on February 11 in the office of the District and Session Judge, WKH to settle the pending criminal compoundable cases.
Religious gathering
The 40th Jingiaseng Samla Shillong Ri-Lum Presbytery will be hosted by the Senior Christian Endeavour Society, Golf-Links Presbyterian Church from February 11-12. The public worship on February 12 will be held at 10 am and 1:30 pm at Polo ground (2nd ground). Vehicles can be parked at Polo parking lot.
Prohibitory order
The District Magistrate, Ri Bhoi has imposed a prohibitory order under Section 144CrPC  prohibiting  all unauthorised persons along with their vehicles from stationing in an around the 13th Mile, Tamulkuchi weighbridge for diversion of coal laden trucks away from the designated route, NH-6. The order came into force with immediate effect.
