One held for stealing broomsticks

SHILLONG: Police arrested a person for stealing broomsticks and selling them in West Jaintia Hills.A person identified as  Phrangtis Suchiang of Mulum village, West Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on Feb 6, one Eipormi Suchiang had stolen broomsticks  worth  Rs10,000  from his house and sold them  to another person identified as  Kalbard Dkhar of Madankynsaw.
However he denied his involvement despite the fact that the headman along with the owner had made an inquiry and found that the broomsticks were actually stolen by him.
