‘Left out villages free to join Pynursla’
Pynursla MLA and Cabinet Minister Prestone Tynsong said on Tuesday that the eight villages, who were left out from the Pynursla Civil Sub Division, were free to be part of it if they desire so.
The residents of Mawsiangei and Nongla among the eight villages wanted to be under Pynursla. He told reporters that the headman of  Mawkliaw met him and submitted a memorandum expressing to be part of the new sub division.
“However, I conveyed to him that it would be ideal for the headmen of all the eight villages to agree to be part of Pynursla”, he said. A meeting has been convened on Feb 18 to discuss the matter.
