2 killed road mishaps

SHILLONG: Two killed in two separate road accidents in the State. A betel nut laden Mahindra Pick-up (ML-08D-9792) driven by Md. Amitul Miah (22) met with an accident at Chillipara Nokat in South West Garo Hills on February 21. The driver died on the spot while the other two occupants sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Ampati. The post mortem examination was conducted and other necessary formalities were observed.  In another incident, a Mahindra Pick-up (ML-08C-5572) knocked down a pedestrian identified as Sonuddin Sheik (15) at Hallidayganj in West Garo Hills. The victim sustained injuries and was referred to Solace Hospital, Goalpara, Assam but the victim died on the way.
