GSU submits memorandum to CM

TURA: The Garo Students’ Union (GSU) Mendal Regional Unit has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister, Mukul Sangma demanding the development of the region in certain areas.
The memorandum which was submitted on February 21 sought the blacktopping of the 12 km Bajengdoba to Jangrapara PWD Road via Bekbekgre and Kimdegre, upgradation of wooden bridges in the region to RCC, setting up of Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Bekbekgre, Chisim Apal area.
It further sought the setting up of a new police outpost at Kimdegre and A’chotchonggre, setting up of educational institutions like higher secondary level under Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhian (RMSA), upgradation of PHC at Rari including Rari High School to Adhoc basis, repairing of Bajengdoba PWD road from Chichotcheng to Bekbekgre PWD Road and the upgradation of the Operational Group Camp at Rari to Police Outpost.
