Teacher accused of molestation surrenders

SHILLONG: Konasson Rodborne, the teacher at a Sohiong school who is accused of molesting two students, surrendered before a local court here on Friday, a day after the High Court rejected his pre-arrest bail application.
Rodborne was sent to judicial custody after he surrendered before the special POCSO judge through his counsel M. Iawsai.
The teacher at Tlong Umiam Secondary School at Weilyngkut in Sohiong has been accused of stalking, molesting and taking videos of himself forcibly kissing and molesting two students on the school premises.
Earlier, the POCSO special judge rejected the teacher’s prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail.
