Annual school week programme concludes

SHILLONG: Balika Hindi Vidyalaya Secondary School, Shillong celebrated its annual school week from April 18-21, 2017 with a gala opening ceremony attended by J.P. Geonka, President of the School and K.K. Jhunjhunwala, Secretary of the School.
Members of the school managing committee B.K. Bajaj, U. Chandgothia and D. Rai, Principal of R.B. Anupchand Hindi Secondary School, J.P. Mishra and member of Inner Wheel Rotary Club, R. Mordani, also attended the inaugural function.
Various competitions including sports, quiz, painting and extempore speech were conducted on the occasion. Food stalls and exhibitions were installed and proved to be a great success. The function also consisted of march past, drill, recitation, group song and dance etc. The star programme was a yoga performance by the students under the guidance of S. Pradhan.
The programme was organised by Susmita Paul, headmistress and supported by the teachers, students and parents.
