SHILLONG: Niwel Dkhar, who is the Finance Secretary of the central body of the Meghalaya SSA School Association, has been removed from the post as he has violated the Constitution of the association several times and found to be unfit as an office bearer of the association.
In a statement on Sunday, the association has informed the matter to all SSA teachers, 4th teachers and the presidents and secretaries of different districts and block units of Meghalaya SSA School Association (MSSASA).
This decision was taken at the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the association held on April 18 at Khasi National Durbar Hall, Mawkhar, after several complaints from the members.
Before this, CEC had also given Dkhar several chances to rectify his mistakes but in spite of this, he continued to violate the Constitution of the association, the statement said.
“Henceforth from April 18 onwards he will not function anymore as the Finance Secretary of the Association,” said H.M Marbaniang, General Secretary of the Meghalaya SSA School Association.
