SHILLONG: Two persons lost their lives in separate accidents in the State on Tuesday. The first accident took place when a car driven by Shanbok Syad dashed against a truck at Byndihati in East Jaintia Hills. The driver of the car sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Khliehriat, where he was declared brought dead.
In another accident on the same night, one truck driven by Laimitter Khongsit (25) capsized at Laitryngew. One occupant died on the spot.
