Awareness programme
In its effort to spread awareness among students about the menace of drug abuse, crime against children and cyber crimes, the Sadar Police Station on Thursday organised an awareness programme at Jail Road Boys Higher Secondary School. Students from class X-XII attended the programmewhich was organised in collaboration with Manbha Foundation.
World Veterinary Day
Meghalaya Veterinary Services Association will celebrate the World Veterinary Day at the Conference Council, Directorate of A.H. & Veterinary, Lumdiengjri from 10: 30 am onwards on April 29 under the theme, “Anti-Microbial resistance- From awareness to action”.
General meeting
The annual general meeting of Kalakairali, Shillong, an organisation of Malayalees living in the city, will be held on April 30 at the seminar hall of the State Central Library complex from 3 pm to 6 pm. The organisation will also celebrate ‘Vishu’ and Easter along with its members and plan the activities for its silver jubilee celebrations to be organised this year.
