U-15 SSA Football tourney: Lajong drub Madanryting

Shillong: Shillong Lajong Juniors won their second consecutive U-15 SSA Football match on Thursday against Madanrting Sports Club with a 7 goal thriller at the Polo Ground Shillong.
Overall, the Lajong Juniors enjoyed majority of the ball possession since the start of the game and Wanpynskhem opened the account for the Reds in the 6th minute. Bakmenlang netted the second goal in the 20th minute after Mewanbanaibor provided with the assist to give Lajong a 2-0 lead in the game against Madanryting and were leading 2-0 at half time.
Aibanteilang netted the third goal for Lajong in the 64th minute and a minute later Batskhemlang also found the back of the net to make it 4-0 for the young Reds.
Pynskhemlang was fed with a good ball by Bestarland and the youngster made no mistake to convert the chance into goal in the 68th minute while Sambor also found his name on the score sheet in the 70th minute in a game that was clearly one sided.
Madanryting’s misery continued as the Lajong Juniors put in another one with Pynskhemlang netting his second and Lajong’s 7th goal in the 76th minute.
Shillong Lajong Junior Reds have collected six points from two matches and are currently at the top of Group B.
They will play their next game against Sohryngkham on May 5.
