Teen abducted
Six unidentified miscreants, suspected to be Bangladeshi nationals, abducted one helper of JCB Earth Mover, Dajied Syiemlieh (18) of Umthied village, Bynther in West Khasi Hills on April 26 at 8 pm. Syiemlieh is an employee of Kynsai Dkhar at Nongjri (SWKH) and, the miscreants also looted one SBBL gun, two mobile phones from the office. Later, one 7.65mm empty case was recovered from the PO. Operations are on to rescue the abducted victim.

Farming sheds in WJH charred down
On April 27, unknown miscreants burnt down five farming sheds at Sung Valley, Elaka Maskut in West Jaintia Hills.

Overloaded trucks detained
On April 26, Magistrate along with Police conducted checking at Khliehriat Bazar in East Jaintia Hills and detected two overloading coal trucks (ML-04B-4932) and (ML-04A-5194), violating NGT order.
L.G.M Kharmih, EAC, East Jaintia Hills district lodged a complaint that on April 26 evening, he along with Police conducted checking of illegal transportation of coal at Khliehriat Bazar (EJH), detected one truck (ML-04A-6838) carrying coal suspected to be offending against permissible law.

Complaint against false FIR
On April 26, Tengkan A Sangma lodged a complaint that on March 15, Miltha Ch Marak of Sabiage village in South Garo Hills, lodged a false complaint against him, alleging him of extorting Rs. 1,25,080 from her.
