Contractual programmer regularised
The State Cabinet on Friday approved two contractual posts of senior programmer and programmer for the implementation of various programmes under GST.
Non-bonded doctors
The State Cabinet on Tuesday approved four non -bonded doctors under Rule 3 (F).
Liquor profit margin increased
Cabinet has increased the margin of profit passed on the retailers on liquors, beer and wine from existing 10 percent to 20 percent. The decision was taken after wine dealers petitioned the State Government to increase the margin saying 10 percent margin is very low and not sustainable for the business. For increasing the margin, the Cabinet amended the rule 372 of the Meghalaya Excise Rules.
MII system
State Cabinet has approved five posts on contractual basis for the Meghalaya Integrated Information (MII) system. The five posts include one post senior technical, three post of field technical and one post call centre operator.
