Mahendraganj MLA Dikkanchi D. Shira (R) after the inauguration of the first production centre for apparels in South West Garo Hills on Wednesday. The centre has been set up by Voluntary Association for Social Upliftment, Guwahati, with help from the Department of Commerce and Industries. It has 25 machines and can employ at least 30 workers.
