Theft cases
On May 24 around 2.30 am, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Donbok Khongwang at Khongwang village under Pynursla Police Station and stole three cell phones, one digital camera, and cash Rs. 10,000.British Dkhar of Ladthalaboh, Jowai lodged a complaint that on May 22 around 6.30 am, her son Raymond Dkhar demanded money from her. Later, he broke into her house and stole Rs. 2,000.

Bus hits auto-rickshaw
On May 23 around 10 pm, one SPTS bus (ML-01-1140) dashed against one auto-rickshaw (ML-10A-9267) driven by Simone Shadap (20) at Mawiong. As a result, the auto-rickshaw driver sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.

Livestock stolen
W. Symblai of Mukhla Umlangshor village lodged a complaint that on May 21, one Padak Shylla stole his livestock and transported the same in his vehicle (ML-04-9636). The vehicle was later seized from Mukhla Surok Wahktieh without the livestock.

Two arrested, gelatin sticks seized
Police apprehended two persons in East Jaintia Hills and recovered 400 gelatin sticks and an equal number of detonators from them. AC Khliehriat lodged a complaint that on May 19, while conducting mine raids in Mookyndur and Moorasong, Salman Hussain and Yusuf Ali were held with gelatin sticks and detonators.
