UDP Umroi nominates its candidate for 2018 Assembly polls

SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP), Umroi Circle, through its Executive Committee will send the name of Firstforce Deki Ramsiej, to the UDP Ri Bhoi district and to state UDP as a probable candidate from the Constituency for the 2018 Assembly elections. R.S Mawlong, president of Umroi Circle said that Ramsiej, left a government service to serve the public.
He had served as an Inspector in the department of Agriculture before joining active politics. Ramsiej, if awarded a ticket will face a tough fight from sitting Congress MLA Ngaitlang Dhar.
