SHILLONG: AICC General Secretary and in charge of Meghalaya C.P Joshi maintained silence on what action would be taken against Cabinet minister Sniawbhalang Dhar on the second day of his visit to the city on Saturday.
When reporters asked him about Dhar on Saturday, Joshi said the “Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee chief (D.D Lapang) is competent to respond to the query”.
Joshi, who is accompanied by secretary in charge Vijay Laxmi Sadho, said they are here to take feedback from party workers and elected representatives on the strategy for the 2018 Assembly elections.
He also said BJP is trying to create space in Meghalaya and the Congress will be careful not to let the saffron party fulfil its “hidden agenda” in the State.
