Arunachal Govt enhances ex-gratia for armed forces, CPMF

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh government has enhanced the amount of ex-gratia payment for armed forces and central para military forces performing duties in the state or deployed at the request of state government within the state.
Ex-gratia payment has also been enhanced for permanent residents of the state employed in the armed forces and central para-military forces anywhere in the country.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu through a letter to Union Defence and Home Minister informed that the state government through two separate notifications, have increased the ex-gratia payments, an official release said.
As per the notification, the rates of ex-gratia payment have been enhanced from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 50 lakh in case of death.
 In case of permanent disability, ex-gratia enhanced from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
In case of grievous or serious injury, ex-gratia has been enhanced from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000, the release said. (PTI)
