Man assaults mother, son
On June 9 around 3 am, Dieng Majaw assaulted Syndon Diengdoh (41) and her ten-year-old son in their residence at Rngikseh, Mawrah, Khadarshnong under Sohra police station. Victims sustained injuries and were removed to Civil Hospital Shillong. Matter is under investigation.
Minor sexually abused
A complaint was lodged that on June 5, Bulbul L. Mawlong attempted to rape one six-year-old minor girl at Pyndengumiong village in West Khasi Hills.
Youth attacked by miscreants
Raseng A Sangma lodged a complaint that on May 31, three persons Tangrak, Pangkam and Terim assaulted his younger brother Poshan A Sangma at Mondoltilla, Tura with iron rods and sharp weapons and caused injuries to him. Victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Civil Hospital Tura.

Manoj Kumar Agarwal lodged a complaint that on the night of May 25, unknown miscreants broke into his shop M/S G.L.R Pharmaceuticals at Hawakhana and stole cash, CCTV cameras and accessories, computer and accessories, medicines, and others worth Rs. 7,49,380.
